Modern Collection by Hadid Architect.
Zaha Hadid was an Iraqi-born British architect. Her jewelry collections in collaboration with Georg Jensen and Moda Operandi are inspired by her architectural style. This sculptural ring is part of the LLamallae collection. It is called the Model 1623 E — a limited edition of only 25 double finger rings.
This sculptural design is beautiful, an architectural and optical piece of art.
It is similar and inspired by the Haddid’s Wangjing Soho building in China (pictured below).
The silhouettes and curved forms stay constant throughout the collection, along with the palette of silver and black rhodium. “There is an inherent integrity within the organic sculptural logic found in nature and when we often look at the coherence of natural systems when we work to create environments,” – by Hadid.
Hadid has worked on a number of jewelry designs, like latticed gold filigree rings and bracelet for Caspita, Silene Cuff for Mouzannar Family, and a twisted cuff for George Jensen.
